ETAS Library info
- Items can be borrowed from the ETAS Library for 23 days.
Six mailings cost CHF 35.- (small increase due to new postal charges).
Please pay into our postal account: ETAS, Zürich 80-43533-3 (IBAN: CH10 0900 0000 8004 3533 3 / BIC: POFICHBEXXX)
A maximum of 3 items (including any accompanying books, CDs, etc.) will be shipped per order. However, you are welcome to give additional titles in case one is currently out on loan. Titles that are not sent will be disregarded. Priority goes to items 1, 2, 3 in the order form.
If a book you wanted is out on loan, a form will be sent to you enabling you to reserve the missing book, should you still require it. The book will then be sent to you when it is returned to the library.
- This service is only available to current ETAS members with an address in Switzerland.
Ordering onlineTo order items from the ETAS library online, please open the library catalogue in PDF.
You can browse through the catalogue to find items, and look within categories of items too (they are grouped under the column "Type"). There is a navigation pane on the left-hand side with hyperlinks to the various categories.
You can also use the search function in your PDF viewing application (e.g. Adobe Reader) to find the item(s) you want. The search button is often the one with a pair of binoculars, and/or it may be accessible through a menu.
When you have found an item you want:
Note its ID and title. Open the library items order form and fill it in with your personal details and the IDs and titles of the items you would like.
If you are familiar with copying and pasting from PDF files, you can copy and paste the IDs and titles into the form instead of typing them in by hand.
After you successfully submit the form, you will see a confirmation page and should receive an email as well detailing what you have ordered from the library. Depending on which items are currently available, you should receive a maximum of three items by normal post a few days later.
Is the item you want not in the catalogue?
Don't forget to include:
- the book title(s)
- publisher and
- any comments you may have.
