The Saidia Children’s Charity project in Kenya

ETAS’ new Teacher-to-teacher project was successfully launched at the Annual Conference in Sion on 3 February 2024. ETAS member Carol Waites is a long-time supporter of the Saidia Children’s Charity and will act as Fundraising Coordinator.

Saidia Children’s Charity is a safe haven in Gilgil, Kenya. Children who have been abandoned are given a home and looked after until the age of 18 with the goal of preparing them for independence and encouraging further education. Their main teaching language is English.
