Baden – Vocabulary Activities for Young Learners – 27th May 2017

This seminar presented by Graham Workman will be a cornucopia of ideas and materials for teaching vocabulary, including ideas for teaching CLIL for specific school subjects (Content and Language Integrated Learning).  It will demonstrate activities for learning specific topic areas while using a combination of picture dictations, communicative crosswords, language and content games, specially designed board games, Total Physical Response, and websites for Primary teachers.

Speaker's Biography

Graham Workman is a freelance teacher trainer, teacher and materials writer.  He runs teacher courses for Primary, Secondary, Business English and Bilingual/CLIL teachers in England and Switzerland.  He has published Total Physical Response for Primary English, Primary English Lesson Materials, Concept Questions and Time Lines, Popular Films for Language Use 1-3, CLIL Secondary Science Materials, Popular Films for Business English 1-2, and at present is working on Secondary English Lesson Materials.
