Part-time English teacher for children in Zurich city from August

The English School Zürichberg is hiring!

Start date August 2023

We are looking for experienced teachers who would describe themselves as “all-rounders”, capable of teaching native and non-native English-speakers.

At The English School we offer a wide range of group classes and 1:1 lessons.

– Activity classes for native speakers (STEM, art, storytelling)
– Literacy classes for native and non-native speakers (Year 1- Year 6)
– Thematic-based ESL classes for children from 3-12
– An English-language playgroup for native and non-native speakers which follows the EYFS curriculum…

Founded in 2015, The English School is well established in the local area and has an excellent reputation. We focus on making learning fun and productive for our students, without the stress and pressure of exams or deadlines. Equally important to us is a low-stress teaching environment, without the pressure of having to cover a certain amount of materials per term.

Applicants must be experienced teaching children of primary age. A BEd (Hons) Primary Education would certainly be an advantage. If you have a different teaching qualification (CELTA, PGCE, BEd Secondary etc.) and are experienced teaching younger children, absolutely fine, or if you don’t have any formal qualifications but are highly experienced, that’s absolutely fine too.

Applicants must either be native-speakers or speak English fluently, without an accent.
