2021 PD Day Arrival Information

We are very excited to see everyone in Bern on 11 September!

The address of the school is:

International School of Berne, Gümligen
Allmendingenweg 9, 3073 Gümligen, Bern, Switzerland
View on Google Maps

ETAS has a long history of delegates arriving by train and we’d like to particularly encourage anyone ‘new’ to rail travel to check out the SBB/CFF super-saver day pass for this one-day event. It is available online from 11 July (and is cheaper the earlier you buy). Click here for more information about the super-saver day pass.

The school is located just a few minutes' walk from the Siloah tram stop in Gümligen, which is served by the number 6 tram. Because of planned construction, journeys from the Bern main station will require two steps.

It is recommended that you use the SBB app on your phone or the online timetable and ticket purchase page (using the "Show on the map" feature if you're not familiar with the area) to plan your journey. Click here to plan your journey.

From the Siloah tram stop, you will see little white signs that will direct you to the International School of Berne.

If you are unable to take the train, but are interested in carpooling, don’t hesitate to contact a local ETAS member or the Sustainability SIG Ambassador, Sylvia Goetze Wake, at sustainability@e-tas.ch. Travelling together is a great way to save costs, meet new people, and reduce single-car journeys.

Please be aware that parking is limited at the school!

See you on 11 September!
