Connect, Grow, Thrive

Thank you very much for your patience during the re-organization of this event!

Due to the closure of our planned venue for pandemic mitigation reasons, the 38th Annual Conference has had to be moved online. ETAS used Gather Town for last year's Annual Conference and it was a great success so we are using it again. Attendees will enjoy several aspects that are not available in a Zoom-only conference: you can simply "walk" from room to room instead of clicking on a list of Zoom meeting links to find the next workshop; you can visit different exhibitors, view their offerings and have private discussions with their representatives; and you can make spontaneous video calls with other attendees between workshops rather than just waiting alone for the next talk to begin. Here's a video we made last year to show people how it worked. There have been a lot of improvements to Gather Town in the 12 months since we made the video so check back for an updated video in the week before the conference!

Register for the Annual Conference using the link below. Registered attendees will receive an email with instructions to join the event on Friday 14 January. This email will be sent to the address used when registering.

The workshops and plenaries will not be recorded as this is a live event! There will be plenty of opportunities for active participation - including a Mega Pub Quiz on Saturday night - so don't miss it!

Please note that this year we are making a special request. There are a number of ticketing options (including Early Bird prices until 24 December) for you to choose from. Among the pricing options, you will see a Solidarity Annual Conference Package as well as a separate donation option. The pandemic has affected all of us and ETAS is no different. Event revenue makes up a significant proportion of our operating budget and reduced prices for an online event will have a considerable impact again this year. For an in-person event, the conference package would have been CHF 240. We ask any members who are able to afford a higher ticket price to consider buying the Solidarity Annual Conference Package, or making a separate non-deductible donation. This will help us immensely as we try to reach our budget needs. We are extremely grateful for your support at this time.
