Amy has an American passport, but often feels more like a nomad having lived in 3 countries since she left the States more than 16 years ago. She served on the ETAS Committee as treasurer for 4 years before she became President.
Qualifications and Experience
She got her B.A. in Linguistics at Indiana University and since then has taught English as a second language part- and full-time in three continents. Additionally she has worked in public relations and communications and ran her own events planning business. In Germany and Switzerland she has run her own company teaching primarily in-company business English and exam preparation courses, but she also enjoys teaching kids, beginners and her neighbors whenever the opportunity presents itself.
Special Interest Areas
Amy is married to a German and has a wonderful multi-lingual son.
