Kathy Hatch
Kathy was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. Always an avid reader, she studied English Literature at college and her favorite authors include Charles Dickens and Jane Austen. After years of office work, helping others keeping their offices running smoothly, she moved to Switzerland with her husband in December, 2000.
Just 6 months later she began teaching English. It is a profession she has grown to love. Over the years she has not only taught general and business English, but she has also prepared many students for the Cambridge exams. Her teaching includes in-company classes, large and small groups, and private tutoring for students of all ages and levels. Her most recent challenge has been opening an English language center for children. She completed her CELTA training in the summer of 2004 and joined ETAS in January, 2005. For the AGM in Chur in January, 2009, she was the supervisor for two workshops. She feels the workshops she has attended have contributed to her success and are of great value, and so is looking forward to this opportunity to contribute to ETAS.
